Not only will Prince Harry turn forty in a few days, but on that significant day, the Duke of Sussex is reportedly going to inherit millions from his great-grandmother, Elizabeth.
The Times claims that in 1994, when Prince Harry was just ten years old, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, established a unique family trust fund for her great-grandchildren. Elizabeth reportedly contributed £19 million to the fund, of which Harry will be entitled to collect a portion upon reaching 40.
It is believed that the Prince’s late great-grandmother gave the money in this manner to spare Harry and her other great-grandchildren from inheritance tax.
At the time, reports were that the money would be given to her younger relatives in two installments, one at becoming 21 and the other upon turning 40.
It was rumored that Harry was expected to inherit more than his brother William because William had inherited the Duchy of Cornwall after becoming the Prince of Wales, however the exact amount that each grandchild was expected to inherit was kept confidential.
According to reports from a number of UK publications, William and Harry were expected to get £6 million upon turning 21, with Harry receiving the majority of the money. It was said that an additional £8 million was reserved for the brothers upon reaching the age of 40.

Prince Harry always had a special relationship with his great-grandmother, and he revealed the endearing moniker he had for her in an interview with Tom Bradby last year, after the publication of his shocking book, Spare.
“I had a proper laugh with my Gan-Gan then,” Harry remarked. She was quite close to my father, too, which is something I was aware of at the time, though I never gave it much attention.
Prince Harry also wrote of his deep admiration for her, especially after they connected over a gin drink one evening.
