The famous couple is seen in the photo on a lawn with flowers and candles in glass containers. The two embrace, Allen on his knees, while the ocean sparkles in the distance behind an archway adorned with more flowers.

Both fans and famous friends were eager to congratulate the couple, and many fans made fun of them by comparing them to another well-known couple. They also joked that they were no longer for sale.
Early in December 2023, the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi claimed to have solid information that Steinfeld and Josh Allen were getting engaged soon, setting up engagement rumours. When the Pitch Perfect actress was spotted wearing what looked to be a diamond engagement ring on that finger, the rumours only got more intense.

The pair was initially connected in May of that year, just after it was announced that Allen and Brittany Williams, his long-time girlfriend, had split up.
Since then, Steinfeld has only offered her boyfriend support. In addition to wearing the uniform of his team, supporting him at a few games, and going to the NFL club’s Christmas party as his companion.
Additionally, he said that the invasion of privacy makes him feel “gross” and adds to their “insecurity.”
The DailyMail reported that a source stated that even though the couple had only been dating for a few months, Allen had already told friends and family that he wanted to give the 27-year-old Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star a ring before he won the Super Bowl.
This further fuelled engagement rumours when the Josh Allen his girlfriend was spotted shopping for jewellery in September 2023 while travelling to Toronto.
