Today the Royal Ontario Museum celebrated its gorgeous new exhibit, Bollywood Cinema Showcards: Indian Film Art from the 1950s to the 1980s, in true Bollywood fashion – exuberant Indian dancers taught the crowd three signature Bollywood dance moves and we all moved en masse to a hit Hindi song!

These rare works of Indian art are featured alongside dozens of film clips from different decades in Hindi cinema, and you have to get up close to the old posters to see the genius pairing of paint and photography. This is an exhibit not to be missed and a proper education for fans anticipating the 2011 International Indian Film Academy Awards in Toronto at the end of the month.
